Weedhopper U.S.A. Weedhopper II two seat light sport eligible aircraft.

The Weedhopper II is a back to basic light sport aircraft. It is a two axis control aircraft, using a center mounted stick for elevator control, and dual rudder pedals, with side mount throttles.

The engine is mounted in a tractor configuration, with the engine mounted inverted, using a Rotax reduction drive.

The kit uses aluminum tube bolt and rivet together construction. The wing uses ladder style structure covered with dacron sail cloth. Kit assembly times reported in the 50 hour range.

No special tools are knowledge is required and craft can be built in the area of a large garage.

STANDARD FEATURES - steerable nose wheel, windshield, asi, tach, egt, 5 gallon fuel tank, 30 min setup/take down time OPTIONS - storage bags, brakes, electric starter.
