Quicksilver Manufacturing GT 500 two seat light sport eligible aircraft.

The Quicksilver GT 500 is a tandem seating two place, in a tri-cycle gear configuration.

Power is supplied by a variety of engines including the Rotax 65 HP 582 twin cylinder liquid cooled aircraft engine.

The engine with a gear reduction drive is mounted in a pusher configuration, mounted right side up on top of the wing.

Controls are standard three axis control with flaps. A control yoke is used for elevator and aileron control. The kit uses simple bolt together aluminum tube construction. The kit packaging and manuals are the best in the industry.

The GT 500 was one of the first light sport aircraft to use CAD and CAM design and engineering techniques.
