The MXL II Sport is one of the oldest, safest and most reliable light sport aircraft designs on the market.

The kit features simple bolt together aluminum tube and dacron sail cloth construction. The manuals and kit packaging are the best in the industry.

The MXL II can be assembled in as little as 50 hours, in large garage, using simple hand tools, with nor prior aircraft building experience required.

It has true three axis control, via a center mounted stick, dual rudder pedals, and side mount throttles. The upright engine is mounted in a pusher configuration, using a gear reduction drive.

Power can be supplied by a the Rotax 503 dual carb 50 hp aircraft engine or the Rotax 65 hp twin cylinder liquid cooled engine. The MXL Sport has been the choice of light sport aircraft training schools, with more pilots learning to fly in this style of aircraft than any other in the world.
