Rans S-12XL Airaile two seat light sport eligible aircraft. | | | The Rans S-12XL Airaile was introduced in 1990. It is a high wing tri-cycle gear in a pusher configuration with the engine mounted upright. The Airaile features side by side seating, with dual controls. | | The kit uses simple bolt and rivet together construction. Building times are reported in the 100 to 150 hour range for the dacron sail cloth covered models.
