U.S. Sport Aviation Expo Sebring Florida.

The board at Sebring Airport wanted to put on an event focusing on aircraft. They traveled to Airventure talked to the people at EAA and were advised that if they wanted to put on an event focused on Light Sport Aircraft they would have a good chance of success.

Thus they designed the Sport Aviation Expo to highlight light sport aircraft, parts and accessories suppliers. It features manufacturers of light sport aircraft including fixed wing aircraft, trikes, powered parachutes, motor gliders and gyroplanes.

Manufacturers are able to display and demonstrate their craft to prospective buyers. Pilots are able to attend EAA forums on topics including flight training, the Sport Pilot certificate and insurance.

The show has grown both in exhibitors and attendees since it began with 55 exhibitors attending the first show. In 2005 85 exhibitors attended with over 100 currently booked for 2006.

The Expo will be held form January 11 to 14, 2006. Th location is close to airports and accommodations for out of town visitors.
