U.S. Sport Aviation Expo 2008

Sebring Florida - The fourth annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo took place again this year at the Sebring Regional Airport, and again the Expo continued to grow.

Unlike other aviation events that are having a hard time attracting vendors, the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo was filled to capacity.

One of the contributing reasons for it's success has to be the attitude of the group putting on the show.

You will not find a more friendly, helpful, or better organized group of staff and volunteers anywhere. Vendors and visitors attending the show found everything in place, and working like a well oiled machine.

If there was a problem it was dealt with, not with an attitude - but with understanding and cooperation, with both sides working together to come up with a solution. This is something that has not been present in many other aviation expositions.

This has made the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo a gathering place for lightsport and ultralight aviation enthusiasts from around the world, and with good reason. The Expo featured every aspect of the light sport aviation world, including powered parachutes, weight shift trikes, gyrocopters, motorgliders, composite ultralights, an electric powered trike and fixed wing aircraft, plus most if not all of the current approved light sport aircraft.

For those considering purchasing a lightsport aircraft manufacturers were doing flight demonstrations from the Sebring Airport. For those that already had an LSA the show featured rows and rows of tents with vendors showing off the latest in GPS, parachutes, instruments, windsocks and accessories. For those looking for information a number of forums ran daily, and manufactures made use of the Media Trailer to present daily news briefings.
